Each summer, Camp Baldwin hires summer staff to assist with housekeeping, dining room, life guards, and other responsibilities on the campus.
Areas of Service
- Dining Room
Camp Baldwin has a full service dining room and kitchen. A full time chef manages this area of the campus and utilizes temporary employees to help in the preparation and serving of food, along with dish washing and cleaning up after meals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served daily as required when guests are on campus. - Life Guard
American Red Cross certified lifeguards are needed to provide safety for areas on campus where water is involved: Swimming pool, water zip line, water slide, paddleboats and canoes. - Challenge Course
Camp Baldwin has a team building area for guests and it requires supervision. Summer staffers provide this supervision and ensure the safety of guests . - Snack Shack
At selected hours of the day, the Snack Shack is open for guests to purchase candy, ice cream and other treats. Summer staffers man this area of the campus. - Camp Store
Camp Baldwin has a great novelty shop for campers to purchase souvenirs. Also available are those essential items sometimes forgotten when packing for camp. Summer staffers also assist in the operation of this store. - Housekeeping
Camp Baldwin has four lodges and several other buildings that must be kept clean and fresh for guests . Part of housekeeping is the laundry room where camp provided sheets, pillow cases, towels, etc. are cleaned, folded and prepared for the next use.
